🛰️ ISABELLA JONES

Environmental & Biological Systems Specialist Aurora Mission Personnel File

▣ MISSION PROFILE Isabella Jones is the lead Environmental and Biological Systems Specialist aboard the Aurora mission. She is responsible for all life-sustaining biological infrastructure, including hydroponics-based food production, water recycling systems, and onboard biological regeneration systems required for long-duration deep-space travel. Her role ensures the crew has continuous access to food, clean water, and stable biological support throughout the mission to Mars.

 ▣ EDUCATION & TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering, Master of Environmental Systems Engineering (Space Habitat Systems), Postgraduate specialisation in Closed-Loop Biological Systems, Certification in Space Habitat Life Support Engineering.  Her expertise focuses on sustaining human life through integrated biological and mechanical support systems in isolated environments.

 ▣ PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Isabella began her career in environmental and biomedical systems engineering, specialising in controlled ecological environments and sustainable life-support design. She later transitioned into aerospace habitat systems development, contributing to closed-loop survival environments for long-duration space missions. Her work focuses on integrating biological food production systems with spacecraft environmental control architecture. She was selected for the Aurora mission due to her expertise in hydroponic food systems, water reclamation technology, and biological sustainability in closed habitats.

 ▣ MISSION ROLE

Onboard the Aurora, Isabella is responsible for: Hydroponic food production systems, Water recycling and purification systems, Biological waste processing and regeneration systems, Atmospheric bio-regulation support, and Integrated life-support ecosystem stability.  She oversees all biological sustainability systems critical to crew survival during interplanetary transit.

 ▣ OPERATIONAL CHARACTERISTICS

Isabella is highly systems-oriented, with a strong focus on efficiency, redundancy, and biological stability. Her work ensures that the Aurora operates as a self-sustaining closed ecosystem, independent of Earth resupply. She is considered essential to long-term mission viability.

 ▣ CREW CONTEXT

Isabella is married to Commander Ethan Jones and serves alongside him aboard the Aurora. She maintains full technical authority over biological systems within her domain. She is also the mother of Allie Jones, who is integrated into the mission crew structure.
